Holden Cruze

As you may be aware Holden is now chasing after the small sized car market, Holden’s next generation small car will be release early in 2010 and is dubbed the Holden Cruze. Here are a few pictures of the Holden Cruz:

The Holden Cruz is based on the already available “Chevrolet Cruze” that is found in the United States and also across Europe. As you can see from the Holden Cruz images above the latest small sized car from the Holden camp still carries a Holden feel and look, from the dashboard to the front grill it has Holden stamped all over it.

While Australia does not currently manufacture the Holden Cruz in our own backyard there are plans to move production here in the coming years, again suggesting this car will be a hit and should have a very long shelf life. The Holden Cruz is currently being produced in Korea as to is the famous Holden Astra.

Now full specs are a little hard to come by for the time being what we do know is the Holden Cruz will come in a few flavors, your first option and essentially the cheapest will be the 1.8-litre four cylinder and the other option is a 2.0-litre turbo diesel you can expect to pay a little more for this model.

I’m not one to advise people to purchase shares however one would assume this new car will be a winner and should pull Holden out of a tight situation in a unpredictable and competition packed market.

In closing this should be yet another great car from Holden boasting it’s powerful rear wheel drive technology and should be quite fuel efficient compared to other Holden’s (medium sized / large sized cars) and should also have a good bang for buck ratio.
